There are several options for trade management if you want to manually adjust a trade. Video content on trade management is covered in.
You can chose to deactivate a strategy. This is in the "Edit Strategy" slider. If you deactivate an active trade, any remaining trades will be unmanaged by the automation platform. Any currently open trades will not be reported in the automation platform. Future Trades will not be opened.
If you close on the three dots next to an active trade in the "Live " page, you will see an option to "Close Trade Now". This impacts this trade only. After closing in the brokerage, future trades will continue to be automated, and the closed trades will be listed in reporting.
When you select "Close Trade Now", there are additional choices to select.
You can select a partial position, or the entire position.
Additionally, you can use a market order.
Alternatively, you can use a limit order, and set the execution parameters, with an option to switch to a market order after "x" attempts are exceeded.
If you close on the three dots next to an active trade in the "Live " page, you will see an option to "Halt Management".
You will get a confirmation prompt, information you that the automation will halt management and reporting of the current trade, but future trades will still be automated. Resting broker orders will not be impacted by halting management.
If the user has a halted order, later the exit price can be manually input by clicking on the "Management Halted" field (under the reason for close column) on the strategy page. The user can enter the closing price, along with other information, if desired.
If you click on the three dots to the right of the purple icons on the Live page, you will get an option to pause all trading.
No open trades will be managing by the automation platform, and new positions will not be open.
You can also pause individual trades from the strategy screen by selecting "Pause Opening Trades". All currently open/live trades will continue to be managed by the platform.
Users can edit the exit conditions (including execution parameters) for live trades.
Note of caution with this: there are certain variables (current profit target, current stop loss) that are tracked and modified over time due to trailing stops, time/profit actions, etc. If the user modifies the P/L or Time Actions section of a live trade, the tracked variables will be reset.
If you want to manually open a trade, click "Open Trade Now". This option will appear when a strategy is saved and active (but it can be paused).
"Open Trades Now" will skip the normal entry conditions and launch a strategy immediately.
You can set the quantity/allocation, as well as entry execution parameters.
