Welcome to Option Omega! We’ve got a deeply complex backtester to share with you– and a lot of resources to help you dial in what makes sense for you.

If you’re new to the backtester, the first two steps we recommend are these:

Firstly, take the Backtesting Bootcamp class on Option Omega Academy. This will get you up to speed! Note, the class is free – but you will need to setup a separate login/pw for Academy.

The second thing we’d recommend is joining the OO Discord community. The Discord is the beating heart of OO, where you’ll find tons of folks helping each other, talking about backtesting, the markets, etc. etc. It’s free to join. OO subscribers have access to verified channels through a one minute self-verification process. Here’s everything you need to know in this video. The glossary of common terms and the discord channel guide might be helpful for getting started!

If you’ve done those two things, you’ll be well on your way!
