Trial FAQ

I want to end the trial and start my paid subscription. I can't find the button to do that. Where is it?

We can end the trial for you on our end, which will charge your card, start your subscription, and give you full access to the backtester. Just shoot us an email at [email protected].

My backtest won't run. What's wrong!?

The trial is limited to 2017 data only. Your test won't run if you have any dates outside of this.

My backtest still didn't work? (a.k.a. my test worked but it doesn't have a trade I think it should)

The most common reasons tests don’t runare the following:

1. Not enough Margin to support the trade (typical mostly for selling puts & calls).

2. The exact DTE button is selected, and there were not trades that fit that DTE.

3. The padlock next to the strike legs is selected. This is the exact strike offset — it is padlocked by default but you can uncheck it. If it is left on (default), the trade will only execute if there is an option at that strike.

1. If you are running a multi-DTE trade, only completed tests will be shown in the trade log by default. You can show tests in progress by closing them early with the "Close Open Trades on Test Completion" button, which is in the Misc Options at the bottom.

ARRRRGGGH. It still didn't work?
