I want to end the trial and start my paid subscription. How do I do that?

No problem — you can end the trial and get full access by clicking the End Trial Now button on the yellow banner at the top of the screen.

You can also managed your sub anytime in settings⇒ billing, in this case, ending your trial there.

You can also manage your subscription anytime in Settings > Billing including an "End Trial & Start Now" button for Trial users.

I'd prefer to end the trial without starting a paid subscription. How do I do that?

From the User menu (top right) do to Settings, then click on Billing on the left menu. Next, click Manage Subscription.

You should now see the Billing Portal, with the date that the trial ends. If you do not cancel, the paid trial will start on this date and you'll be automatically charged. If you wish to Cancel, click on Cancel Subscription on the right.

After going through the steps of confirm the cancellation, the Billing Portal should now the trial end date. You'll continue to retain access to the trial account until then, and you won't be charged.

My backtest won't run. What's wrong!?

The trial is limited to the last three calendar years (January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2025). Your test won't run if you have any dates outside of this.

My backtest still didn't work? (a.k.a. my test worked, but it doesn't have a trade I think it should)

The most common reasons tests don’t run are the following:

1. Not enough margin to support the trade, typically for selling puts and calls.

2. The exact DTE button is selected, and there were no trades that fit that DTE.

3. The padlock next to the strike legs is selected. This is the exact strike offset — it is padlocked by default but you can uncheck it. If it is left on (default), the trade will only execute if there is an option at that strike.

1. If you are running a multi-DTE trade, only completed trades will be shown in the trade log by default. You can show trades in progress by closing them early with the "Close Open Trades on Test Completion" button, which is in the Misc Options at the bottom.

ARRRRGGGH. It still didn't work?

Yes. You can connect to your broker and place automated trades with the Premium trial (we don't support paper trading). Please review the Documentation and Automation Bootcamp course to ensure understanding of the Automation platform before you activate any strategies with money at risk.
